Global News announced today that the talent lineup for The Morning Show, its ground-breaking news program set to launch this fall, is now complete with the addition of Daru Dhillon. A consummate professional with years of broadcast experience, Dhillon joins Liza Fromer, Dave Gerry and Kris Reyes to provide viewers with the weather and traffic news they need to start their day.

The Morning Show is more than just a breakfast news program that retells the same stories every half-hour. It will feature a team of talented broadcast veterans from different backgrounds freely engaging in unscripted, interactive conversations about the day-to-day life that reflects the topics most relevant to Torontonians.

Born and raised in Victoria, BC, Dhillon has honed her many broadcasting skills while working at Victoria's CHEK TV, Sportsnet (Host of Connected AM) and Cineplex Entertainment.
