Rogers Media announced today the appointment of Hayden Mindell as Vice President of Television Programming & Content, Rogers Media, effective immediately.

In this newly created position, Mindell has been promoted to oversee, develop, and implement the programming and multiplatform strategy for all Rogers Media (non-sports) television assets including City, FX Canada, OLN, OMNI Television, G4, and BIO and will serve as a key member of Rogers Media’s Broadcast Cabinet management team.

Mindell’s new role also includes overseeing the submission, development, and production of original Canadian programming for all Rogers Media non-sports television brands. The announcement was made earlier today by Scott Moore, President, Broadcast, Rogers Media.

“Hayden is one of the industry’s sharpest and most strategic programming executives. During his tenure, City and the Rogers Media specialty channels have grown to compete amongst the nation’s top networks,” said Moore. “Hayden has a unique combination of programming expertise, multiplatform vision, and business acumen. He will provide great leadership in an ever-changing broadcast environment in Canada.”

Since joining Rogers Media in 2024, Mindell has held a variety of senior positions within the company. Most recently, Mindell served as Director of Programming & General Manager for Specialties, overseeing scheduling, acquisitions and digital rights. In this role, Mindell was instrumental in identifying and securing blockbuster hits for the City schedule, such as Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, Revolution, and 2 Broke Girls, and was also responsible for the success of the Rogers Media non-sports specialty portfolio, driving the acquisition of key network franchises including Storage Wars, as well as the launch of FX Canada.
